• Colorado State will take on San Jose State in their only scheduled meeting of the regular season in San Jose on Sat., J an. 15 at 4 p.m. MT

This is a series that has had Colorado State on the winning end of all 22 matchups, including all nine in San Jose. However 10 of games have had a margin of 10 or less, with one going to overtime.
Last season due to COVID regulations in California, the two teams played in Phoenix, Ariz., where SJSU was practicing. CSU came away with both wins in decisive manner.
CSU has six guaranteed opponents that played in postseason in 2020-21 on this year's schedule, combining for at least eight games, with the Rams currently at 4-1 against those teams.
While there are six other schools ranked in the top 25 nationally in at least two of the three shooting percentages (field goal, 3-point and free throw), Colorado State is one of just two in the top 25 in all three (8th in FG, 8th in 3P FG, 2nd in FT). The other is Missouri State (20th in FG, 11th in 3p, 17th in FT).
Junior Isaiah Stevens is 11th in the country at 6.2 assists per game and third in Division I with a 4.16 assist-to-turnover ratio.
This year CSU is 8-0 when the starters tally at least 50.
CSU is outscoring opponents by an average of 6.8 points per game in the second half, including five games with 50 or more in the final 20 minutes. CSU is shooting at a stellar 54.9 percent clip from the field, 38.8 percent from the arc and limiting opponents to 45.1 and 30.6, respectively, while forcing 1.2 more turnovers a game in the second half.
Juniors Isaiah Stevens and John Tonje and seniors Kendle Moore and Adam Thistlewood are all in CSU's top-30 for 3-point field goal percentage.
Junior David Roddy was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top-25 Watch List on Jan. 5 and Lute Olson Award Midseason Watch List Jan. 12. He had previously been named to the preseason Karl Malone Award Watch List, announced by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. One of 20 named to the initial Malone Award Watch List, this honor recognizes the top power forward in men's college basketball.
The Rams return home for the first game with the return of students from the break, hosting New Mexico on Wed., Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network, with Rich Waltz, Dan Dickau and Jenny Dell on the game.
