LAS VEGAS – Colorado State put runners in scoring position during Sunday's rubber match with UNLV, but always had two outs, needing just one timely hit, which escaped the Rams in the 8-1 loss. The Rams recorded six hits in the loss, stranding six runners on base – five of them in scoring position.
