Rams Prepare for Two Nevada Contests

CSU still remains first in Mountain West standings

Colorado State's women's soccer remains atop the Mountain West standings as it enters week four of conference play 4-0-2 mark for a total of 14 points, tied with Boise State. The Rams will hit the road for their next two matches beginning with UNLV and concluding with Nevada. 
 
UNLV's match will take place on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.; Sunday's match against Nevada is set for 1 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network. 
 
Following last week's home matchups, Colorado State is now 8-3-3 overall as it continues Mountain West play. 
 
UNLV: 
  • The Rebels stand third in the Mountain West standings, following last week's win and draw. 
  • UNLV is 6-6-2 overall and 4-4-1 in conference. 
  • The Rebels lead the series 6-2-2
 
Nevada:
  • Nevada stands fifth in the Mountain West standings, following last week's wins, having won three straight. 
  • The Wolf Pack is 5-10 overall and 3-3 in conference. 
  • The Rams lead the series 8-2-0.
 
Quick Kicks:
  • Kaja Dionne's goal against Boise State was the second of her career. 
  • Avery Vander Ven's goal against Utah State marked her second goal of the season and her fourth as a Ram. 
  • Mia Casey so far has recorded five assists this season, bringing her career total to six, which ties her for third place in program history, while her 22 points bring her to seventh all time. Additionally, Casey is tied for third in a single-season for assists.
 
What's Ahead:
Next week, Colorado State will host a home match on Oct. 24 against New Mexico at 7 p.m., and then hit the road to San Diego, Calif., for a match against San Diego State on Oct. 27, at 1 p.m.
