Rams Send Seniors Out with Rivalry Win

CSU’s seniors combined for 54 of the team’s 70

FORT COLLINS – Senior day and your biggest rival in town bring out the emotions. Colorado State men's basketball handled them well, defeating Wyoming 70-62 inside a sold out Moby Arena.

The five seniors combined for 54 of the 70 points scored by the Rams on the day.

Colorado State held the Cowboys at arm's length throughout the game going up by as much as 11 early in the second half.

Joel Scott scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half providing a presence inside over and over again.

Isaiah Stevens turned on Zay Mode as Wyoming cut the lead to one with 4:09 left scoring five straight points extending the lead to six and putting the game away.

Game Notes
- Joel Scott matched his CSU-high with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting grabbing five rebounds.
- Isiah Stevens scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists in his final game inside Moby Arena.
- Nique Clifford recorded his seventh double-double of the year with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
- Patrick Cartier scored 15 points, grabbed five boards and had five assists.

What's Ahead
The Rams head south to Air Force next Saturday for the final regular season game at 2 pm inside Clune Arena.
