CSU Softball Announces 2025 Season Schedule

Rams set to play 53-game season starting February 7th
FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State softball team and coach Jen Fisher announced Thursday that the Rams will play a 53-game spring season in 2025 including five pre-season tournaments and 22-game conference matchups.

The Rams will kick off the season playing UC Santa Barbara Friday, February 7 at 10:30 a.m. a part of the New Mexico State Invitational. Â The Rams will play four more games during opening weekend in Las Cruces, including games against host team New Mexico State and Kansas City.

Colorado State will continue its non-conference schedule with appearances at the Silicon Valley Classic, hosted by Santa Clara February 14-16 and the Hillenbrand Invitational, hosted by Arizona February 21-23 and set to feature some top-tier opponents in Texas, Stanford and Arizona.

2025's home opener is set for February 28 featuring a doubleheader with Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Ram Field beginning at noon to kick off the Colorado Classic. Colorado State will also host Tennessee State. The second of the two non-conference tournaments the Rams will host will take place March 7-8 and will be featuring a four-game tournament again Weber State.

Entering Mountain West conference play, the Rams will host UNLV March 14-16. Colorado State will host conference series versus Utah State, San Diego State and Fresno State while traveling to San Jose State, Boise State, New Mexico and Nevada during the conference season.

The Rams will also take a trip out to Fayetteville, Arkansas April 18-18 for a three-game series with the Arkansas Razorbacks during their bye weekend of the conference schedule.

Rounding out the season, the top six teams in the Mountain West will advance onto the Mountain West Championship Tournament May 8-10 hosted by San Diego State where the winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament Regionals beginning May 16th.
