Rams Welcome Big Green to Moby

Colorado State hosts Dartmouth Tuesday

FORT COLLINS – Three days after taking down rival Colorado at home, Colorado State men's basketball returns to the Moby Arena court to host Dartmouth Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Tickets for the game are available at CSURams.com/MBBTickets or by calling 888-491-RAMS (7267).
 
Opening Tip
- Colorado State defended its home court against rival Colorado 91-86 on Saturday behind strong shooting behind the arc.
- The Rams made 18 3-pointers in the win. Tying for the third most in program history and two off the record of 20 against Creighton in 2021.
- For the second straight game , Josh Pascarelli cashed in eight 3s. He was 8-for-10 behind the arc. He finished the game with 26 points and his most important shot a 2-pointer inside the final minute to clinch it for the Rams.
- Pascarelli's performance earned him Mountain West Player of the Week honors. 
- While Pascarelli was lighting up the floor, teammate Kyle Jorgensen had a quiet 21 point performance. The sophomore added in seven rebounds, three assists and a career-best three steals.
- Three other Rams reached double figures scoring in Jevin Muniz (12), Brandon Rechsteiner (11) and Jase Butler (10).
- A total of six CSU players made a 3-pointer on Saturday. Jorgensen and Rechsteiner each added three while Butler had a pair and Muniz and Jojo McIver had one a piece.
- Colorado State reached 15 assists for the seventh time this season againt the Buffs.
- Brandon Rechsteiner lead the way with six assists.
- CSU ranks 29th in the nation and leads the Mountain West in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.71.
- The Rams 18.8 assists per game are the best in the Mountain West and 24th in the nation.
- Colorado State is assisting on 68.4% of its made field goals on the year, the sixth best mark in the nation.
- CSU is third in the nation in free throw percentage at 80.9%.
- Kyle Jorgensen's performance over the first week earned him Mountain West Player of the Week honors. The sophomore averaged 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in the first two games of the season.
- The Rams have shot the ball efficiently this year with an effective field goal percentage of 63.8% ranking second in the nation.
- CSU earned a second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2024-25 and third in four years.
- Colorado State's 26 wins in 2024-25 tied for the second most in program history. They finished one win behind the record of 27 set by the 2014-15 team. 
- The Rams welcomed the best transfer portal class in the Mountain West in 2025 ranking 61st in the nation.
- Colorado State has the longest active streak of having a player on the first team All-Mountain West list at seven years. Nico Carvacho (2019-20), David Roddy (2021-22), Isaiah Stevens (2023-24) and Nique Clifford (2025).
- Nique Clifford became the fourth player in program history to be picked in the first round of the NBA Draft in June. Clifford was the 24th pick overall by Oklahoma City with his rights traded to Sacramento.
- Clifford had one of the best seasons in program history his final year. He earned AP All-America honorable mention, was the MVP for the Mountain West Tournament and helped the program earn its first Mountain West title since 2003 by winning the Mountain West Tournament.
 
Scouting the Big Green
Dartmouth is on a two game trip to the Rocky Mountains having played at Wyoming on Saturday. The Big Green fell to the Cowboys 93-80.
 
DU is 3-4 on the year entering Tuesday's game.
 
Kareem Thomas leads the way for Dartmouth averaging 20.0 points per game. He has an eight point cushion over his closest team mate. The Big Green like to shoot the three with 302 attempts already this year making 11.0 per game.
