Colorado State to finish regular season play against the Wolf Pack
FORT COLLINS - The Colorado State softball team faces Nevada in its final conference series on May 1-3. The Rams will compete in three games over three days, opening with their first game on Thursday against the Wolf Pack.

- Last season, the Wolf Pack finished the regular season ranked second in the Mountain West after finishing with a 15-4 conference record. The Pack are currently ranked first in the Mountain West after seven weeks of conference play, in which they are 13-6, with Colorado State being their last conference series before entering the Mountain West tournament next week. Senior Aaliyah Jenkins has been the shining star offensively for the Wolf Pack during conference play, with a .508 batting average after 31 hits, 29 RBI and 10 home runs, for a 1.164 slugging percentage. With these stats, Jenkins leads the Mountain West in hits, runs scored, RBI, home runs, total bases, slugging percentage and on-base percentage. Additionally, Jenkins has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week four times throughout conference play. The Wolf Pack has relied on junior Hailey McLean in the circle, who boasts a 6-3 record in the circle, producing 41 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.43 overall. The Rams hold a 22-19 record over Nevada in previous years, with their last matchup ending in a 1-2 victory for the Wolf Pack.Â
- Last weekend, the Rams faced Fresno State in their final home conference series. After going 1-2 on the week, the Rams are ranked seventh in the Mountain West with an overall record of 16-29.
- Sunday's game against the Bulldogs acted as Senior Day, in which all five seniors were honored for their contributions to the program. This game also served as senior Brooke Bohlender's 150th game in a Ram uniform.Â
- Reagan Wick added her ninth win under her belt after game one against the Bulldogs, in which she recorded four strikeouts, gave up four hits and completed the game with a 0.00 ERA. Â
- The offense for the Rams had a breakthrough inning in game one of the series against the Bulldogs, with Autumn Rutherford, Abby Edwards, Jordan West, Kyra Smith, Kaylynn English, Lauren Stucky and Bohlender all contributing hits during the seven run inning.Â
- During the bottom of the second inning, Edwards homered to left center to get the Rams on the board, lighting the spark for the seven run rally.Â
- Bohlender continues to lead the Rams' offense with a .368 batting average after recording 49 hits, 14 extra-base hits and 18 RBI for a .496 slugging percentage.
