Trio of players named Scholar Athletes

FORT COLLINS – Continuing to excel off the court, Colorado State's women's tennis team – and three of its players – earned academic honors from the past season from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday.

Coach Mai-Ly Tran's team was named an All-Academic team after posting a 3.48 GPA for the season. To earn the distinction, teams must carry at least a 3.2 GPA for the season.

In addition, three players – Victoria Erechtchenko, Logan Voeks and Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya – were all named ITA Scholar Athletes. Individuals must carry at least a 3.50 GPA for the season. It is the second consecutive season Voeks was honored by the ITA individually. The trio previously earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators.
