Rams Head to Florida for Two-Match Road Trip

Colorado State travels to face Stetson and South Florida following season-opening win

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State women's soccer hits the road for the first time in 2025, traveling to Florida for a pair of non-conference matchups against Stetson (Aug. 21) and South Florida (Aug. 24). The Rams (1-0) opened their season with a 2-1 victory over Utah Tech last week.

Series History
This will be the first meeting between Colorado State and Stetson, as well as the first-ever matchup with South Florida.

Scouting the Opponents
  • Stetson finished 2024 with an 8-11 overall record and 3-8 mark in ASUN play. The Hatters went 7-2 at home, but just 1-9 on the road. They opened the season with a 1-0 win over Gardner-Webb.
  • South Florida posted a 12-2-5 record last season, including 6-1-3 in American Athletic Conference play. The Bulls advanced to the AAC Tournament semifinals and went unbeaten on the road at 2-0-4. They are 1-1 on the season, starting with a victory over Furman.
