IN THEIR WORDS
Head coach Bill Hempen on Alyssa Yoshida in 2017...
"Alyssa is a very talented midfielder that we found in Hawai'i. She possesses good technical ability and good pace. She is a player I think can put a little texture on the balls that she plays - or in golf terms, like dropping a 9-iron three feet from the cup and it stays there as opposed to rolling off the edge of the green. Balls played through to the forwards have to have the right pace or they roll out of bounds. With her ability to make the ball do what she wants it to do, it gives us maybe four or five more opportunities in front of the goal that we may have missed out on before."
