  • Assisted in coaching Jefferson Abbey (13th place) and Jerrell Mock (19th place) to All-American status in 2015
  • Assisted in coaching Darby Gilfillan to the NCAA championships
  • Helped coach the men to the 2013 (26th place) & 2014 (19th place) NCAA Division I National Championships

  • Coached 17 individuals and five relays to Mountain West All-Conference status
  • Coached four Mountain West Conference Champions (2013, 2014, 2015 men's Distance Medley Relay, 2014 women's 10k)
  • Assisted in coaching the women’s team to three Mountain West Conference Team Championships, Outdoor 2015 & 2016, Indoor 2016
  • Help coached the men's team to their 1st ever Mountain West Conference Outdoor Team Championship, 2015 

Scott Dahlberg begins his fifth year with the Colorado State University track and cross country program after four seasons coaching at Western State college. He assists Head Cross Country Coach Art Siemers in cross country and track and field. Dahlberg also spearheads recruiting efforts for the CSU track & field team.

While he was an assistant coach at Western State College, Dahlberg helped coach a national championship cross country team, four national championship runner-up cross country teams, four individual national champions, 76 All-American titles and an Olympic Trials qualifier. Both of his men's and women's teams earned "Academic Team of the Year" honors.

Dahlberg is a 2008 graduate of Western State College where he earned five All-America titles between cross country and track and field after originally attending Western State to play basketball. The two-time cross country All-American led the Mountaineers to a national runner-up finish in 2007. In his track and field career, Dahlberg placed seventh in the mile and third in the distance medley relay at the 2008 indoor national championships. He finished fourth in the outdoor championships later in the season in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. He continues to train with the Brooks I.D. team.

Dahlberg graduated from Western State with honors in mathematics, secondary education and exercise sports science. He received his master's degree in health, physical education and recreation from Emporia State University.

Dahlberg grew up in Peyton, Colo. and graduated from Peyton High School.
