Cooper Nelson joined the Colorado State football program in January of 2026 as the coordinator of on-campus recruiting.

Nelson worked with Jim Mora at UConn the two prior season in the role of recruiting graduate assistant. He began his career at his alma mater, Wisconsin-Eu Claire as a quality control coach before moving into the role of the team’s director of operations for two years.
