Awards & Honors
High School: Graduated from Chatfield Senior High School in the Spring of 2024… She was named to the Academic All-State First Team all four years of high school… Her other high school accomplishments include the 2023 Softball 5A State Championship MVP and being named to the second team all conference two years in a row.
Personal: Born on April 30, 2006 in Littleton, Colorado… daughter to Candace and Wally Cooledge… older sister to Carson Cooledge… Is studying Occupational Therapy and Statistics and Colorado State with the hopes of becoming an Occupational therapist or sports analyst… She used to ski race competitively and made the Rocky Central Junior Olympic Team and got to train at the Olympic Training Center… Her cousin, Anne Donovan, won multiple olympic gold medals both coaching and playing women’s basketball and is in the basketball hall of fame.
Fisher on Cooledge: "Karlie is quite similar to Mac Ferguson in that she is a two-way player. This is tough to do, but we watched Karlie do this with ease, for her Colorado state championship Chatfield High School team. We love Karlie's intensity for all aspects of the game, and she is an excellent fit in every way. We are excited to keep her at home. She will make a mark for this great university, and we welcome her and her family."
Cooledge on CSU: "Colorado State felt like home. During my visit I was welcomed with open arms and really enjoyed my time there. The coaches and players were amazing, and I just knew it was a great fit. It is a great school academically that has my intended majors of occupational therapy and statistics. I will be getting a great education as well as being a part of a great softball program close to home," Cooledge said.
