Fisher on Nesbit: "With the commitment of Olivia Nesbit, our staff feels we have added a special player and person. There is quite a history of hard-working, successful athletes from the southern part of the state and Olivia will add to that legacy. She will quickly become a fan favorite with her unique ability to be a two-way player as a pitcher and hitter. We are grateful that Olivia is eager to represent her state university, as a quality student, person and athlete. She has a certain charisma, competitiveness and love of the game that will carry her far in Division I softball and help our team on the path to the PAC-12! We have been watching Olivia grow over the years as she has been a regular at our camps. Her high school coach, Danielle Villegas played for Coach Fisher at her first college stop, Otero Junior College, and has brought the program at Pueblo County back to prominence within the state. We are looking forward to welcoming Olivia to the Ram Family."

Nesbit on CSU: "I chose Colorado State because I wanted to stay close to my family. Being from Pueblo, I figured CSU was a good distance away from home but not too far. Being about three hours North of my home, gives me more freedom to explore myself and to learn how to live independently. I also fell in love with the facilities and the way that the softball program is run, " Nesbit said.
