Volleyball Heads To NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Division I Women?s Volleyball committee today announced the 64-team bracket for the NCAA Tournament and the Colorado State Rams are seeded 14th and headed to College Park, Maryland to face George Mason.

Colorado State earned the Mountain West Conference automatic bid after winning the conference tournament. The Rams are 28-4 overall and have won 21 consecutive matches. This is the Rams ninth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament and the 15th time overall.

George Mason is from the Colonial Athletic Association and won the league?s automatic berth into the tournament after defeating Hofstra in the championship match.

The two teams will square off at the University of Maryland on Friday evening in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Maryland and American will play in the other match.

The Rams will face George Mason at 5:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday (3:30 Mountain), with American playing Maryland at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The two winners will play at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Saturday (5:00 p.m. Mountain).
