Walker Named All-American

Colorado State junior first baseman Ricki Walker was named to the 2003 Easton Sports Softball Third Team All-American list. Walker started in all the Rams games for the last two seasons totaling 102 games.
Walker led the team in hitting and home runs with a .377 batting average and nine home runs on the season. She also led the team in multiple hit games with 18, she had 12 games with two hits, and five with three hits and also had a four hit game against Utah.
Walker is not only known for her hitting at CSU; this season she had 389 put outs with a fielding percentage of 99.3%. She did not have an error in 164 chances in conference play this season. Walker was also named to the 2003 Mountain West All-Conference Team and the 2003 Mountain West All-Tournament Team.
