The Colorado State women's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 27 BYU today in Colorado Springs. The Rams are now 9-11 and 2-5 in Mountain West Conference play.

Colorado State's only win came from No. 1 doubles, as Anne Andersen and Emily Kirchem defeated Sofia Holden and Dolly Chang in a close 8-6 match.

Andersen and Kirchem were also the only Rams to send their opponent to three sets in singles play. Kirchem lost to Lauren Jones at No. 1, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Andersen was defeated by Anastasia Sourkova at No. 2, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.

Saturday CSU plays MWC opponent Utah at 10:00 a.m. in Colorado Springs.
