Hey Rammies!
This fall season was great and we love the support we received from all of you!
Just this past week we experienced our first taste of the cold weather, and man was it cold! They say there's a possibility of snow this weekend, which means some of us freshmen will be getting our first encounter with the Colorado snow!
We're excited for the fall to come to a close because that brings us one step closer to our highly anticipated spring season, but we are also reluctant to see it pass as we will no longer be able to hold team practices. For those of you who may not know, in Division I softball, we are only allotted a select number of days to practice as a full team in the fall. After our fall season, we transition into our winter offseason where we hone our skills in small group practices and really work on our strength and conditioning aspects of the game. Because of the cold winters here in Fort Collins, we will probably be heading indoors for practice in the coming weeks. We use our intramural gym for these indoor practices, where we can utilize two drop down cages and plenty of open gym area.
As a grand finale to the fall, last Tuesday the team went out and did a bit of bonding on the ropes challenge course here at CSU. It was a great opportunity to really get to know the girls and build a trust in one another that every team needs to win championships!
That's all for now, keep up the support and we can't wait to see you in the spring!
