FORT COLLINS, Colo. – For Thursday’s match against TCU, the Colorado State volleyball team is asking supporters to think of another color besides the usual green and gold: pink.
The athletic department announced Wednesday that Thursday’s match will be “Dig Pink Night” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Fans attending the match will have the option to pledge a dollar amount for each dig CSU records that night. The Rams are averaging 13.3 digs per set.
All proceeds will go to Hope Lives, a local non-profit organization that offers integrative oncology services at no charge to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
All month long, the Rams will be donning pink hair ribbons in support of breast cancer awareness.
First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Moby Arena. The 13th-ranked Rams will look to extend their home winning streak to 24 consecutive matches.
