• Entering this weekend's matches, the Rams have won 17 straight matches at Moby Arena. CSU finished perfect at home last season (14-0) and is off to a 3-0 start in Fort Collins this season.
• In Wednesday's win at Colorado, Mekana Barnes tallied 15 kills while hitting .360 and adding a season-high nine blocks. In her last five matches, she has averaged 13.4 kills per match.
• Senior setter Ashley Fornstrom dished out 45 assists in Wednesday's win at Colorado. She also added a season-high 14 digs. Fornstrom has posted over 30 assists in all seven matches this season.
• The Rams and Tar Heels will be meeting for just the second time in school history. The only previous meeting was on Sept. 26, 1986, when the Rams swept UNC in Chapel Hill.
• Redshirt freshman Katelyn Steffan tied her career highs in kills (11) and blocks (5) Wednesday against CU.
