Softball recap: Current Rams defeat CSU Alumnae, 1-0

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - CSU softball players from the past and present matched up at Ram Field Sunday for the annual game between current players and alums.
The team of alumnae consisted of 11 players, their graduation dates spanning 32 years. 2010 graduates Allison Majam, Becca Penland and Sarah Sullivan all returned to face their former teammates.
The only scoring of the game occurred in the bottom of the fifth, when freshman pitcher Alexa Cash helped her own cause with a home run.
CSU will complete its fall exhibition season next Saturday against Western Nebraska Community College and University of Northern Colorado in Greeley beginning at 12 p.m.
