Spring competition dates set for CSU Volleyball

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State Rams volleyball squad is already preparing for the 2017 season, and their spring competition schedule has been set.
CSU will compete across four weekends in the month of April, including consecutive weekends within the state against Colorado.
The Rams will head out to Goodland, Kansas, on April 1 to begin spring action, taking on 2016 NCAA Tournament combatants Kansas and Wichita State.
The team will return to the state to face Colorado on April 8 in Boulder. It will be the first of two consecutive weekends with the Buffaloes, as they will visit Fort Collins on April 15 for a clinic and a public scrimmage.
The weekend of April 14-15 will feature a Coaches Clinic in Moby Arena, with a scrimmage against the Buffs closing the weekend. Both CSU head coach Tom Hilbert and CU head coach Jesse Mahoney will be mic'd up during the clinic for area coaches, and the scrimmage will be free and open to the public. The scrimmage will take place at 1 p.m. MT on the 15th.
The Rams will close their spring schedule with a trip to Kearney, Nebraska for a meeting with NCAA semifinalist Nebraska on April 22.
