Lordemann Named MW Peak Offensive Player of the Week

With three goals and a tournament bid, Caeley Lordemann was awarded her first Player of the Week recognition

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With her performance in Nevada this past weekend, senior midfielder Caeley Lordemann has been named Mountain West Peak Offensive Player of the Week.
 
On Friday against the Wolf Pack, Lordemann led the Rams with both goals of the match. The first tied up the game with just seven minutes left in regulation, and just two minutes after Nevada took the lead. Lordemann then needed just over two minutes of overtime to net the game winning goal with her opposite foot. 
 
In Sunday's game against UNLV, Lordemann earned yet another goal and an assist on the match. Lordemann crossed the ball to freshman Liv Layton who finished it off for her first collegiate goal.
 
By the end of the weekend, Lordemann marked her 10thgoal of the season, seventh game-winning goal, fifth assist of the season, and pulled her season point total up to 27. She helped the Rams up to a third place spot in the conference and led CSU to their first bid in program history for the Mountain West Tournament.

The Rams finish their regular season schedule Friday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. MT at home against Wyoming for Senior Day.
