CSU picks up three singles win in the match with the Huskers
LINCOLN, Neb. – Colorado State traveled for the fourth straight week and battled host Nebraska, falling to the host Cornhuskers, 4-3, today at Dillon Tennis Center. With the loss, the

Nebraska captured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. The hosts then got wins at No. 6 and No. 3 singles to pull out to a 3-0 lead overall. Stella Cliffe earned the Rams' first point of the day with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Claire Reifeis at No. 2 singles. Nebraska clinched the team victory with a win at No. 5, but CSU finished with three-set victories at No. 4 and No. 1. Nancy Ghanem continued her solid play with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-8 victory over Marina Cozac at No. 4 and then Emily Luetschwager upset Vasanti Shinde, ranked No. 103 in the nation according to ITA, at No. 1 singles, 3-6, 7-5, 10-5.

The Rams will wrap up their trip to Lincoln, Neb., with a neutral-site match against North Dakota on Sunday. The match is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. CT/9 a.m. MT.
