IN THEIR WORDS
Head Coach Jen Fisher Kaitlyn Cook's walk-off hit…
"I'm thrilled for Kait (Cook) and I think everyone on this team would agree with me. It couldn't have happened to a better person. She is calm and collected and just a student of the game; just getting herself ready every day at practice, she has a great attitude and she showed that. It just goes to show you what a great attitude and work ethic can do. I'm really happy for Kait. It's been a couple tremendous days for her."
Â
Fisher on the five seniors…
"Their work ethic was second-to none as a team. They fought through a lot of things that were uncomfortable to them, in different ways. All five of them brought positive things to this team and even when they struggled, they stayed together; they were invested and bought in. They have always been for the team and not about themselves. That will probably be the biggest legacy they leave."
