SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Colorado State softball team held off a San Jose State comeback attempt – stranding the tying run at third base – in the seventh and secured the series with a 2-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Rams held the Spartans scoreless through 6 2/3 innings before a sac fly in the seventh broke the shutout.

Bridgette Hutton hurled the complete game to earn her 12th win of the season, throwing over six scoreless innings.
