FORT COLLINS, COLO. – An overtime win for their Orange Out last Friday has the Rams rolling for their match against Valparaiso and their second go at Marquette this weekend.

Colorado State Quick Hits:

The Rams are off to their best start to a season with four wins, only two wins behind their best overall record (6-9-4 in 2018)
Colorado State is anchored on defense by sophomore goalkeeper Gabi McDonald, who was just awarded Mountain West Soccer Defensive Player of the Week and leads the conference with 38 saves
Seniors Halley Havlicek and Caeley Lordemann are both set to break records. Havlicek is just 39 minutes away from the all-time minutes played record. Lordemann is tied with her own career record of goals made in a single season with 5.

The Crusaders are backed by a young starting lineup, starting at least five freshmen in each match
While having many new faces in their starting XI, Valparaiso also returned five starters and 13 total letterwinners from the 2018 season

This is the second time this season the Golden Eagles will face the Rams, losing at Colorado State 2-0 in August for the season opener
