Rams’ Offense Struggles Against Utes

Colorado State registered just three hits in the loss.
PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – The Colorado State softball team struggled to find its bats as it recorded just three hits in a 3-0 loss to Utah at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge Saturday morning.

Colorado State put a runner on base in each of the first four frames, but left them there. Utah got in the board in the second frame on a pair of hits and a CSU error to lead, 2-0 early. The Utes added to its small lead in the fourth with a solo homer. The Rams looked to get a run on the board, but went down in order the final three frames.
