Rams Set for Home Opener This Weekend

Colorado State play five games this weekend, including a pair at Ram Field.
CSU/UNC Tournament
Colorado State will finish its non-conference schedule this weekend, playing five games this coming weekend, March 5-7. The Rams will begin the weekend in Greeley, Colo., playing Northern Colorado and a neutral game against Oregon State. CSU will then open Ram Field on Saturday with games against Oregon State and South Dakota State before finishing the weekend back in Greeley playing South Dakota State.
Colorado State games in Fort Collins will be streamed on the MW Network.

CSU continued non-conference action last weekend at the Wildcat Invitational. The Rams played three games before having to cancel the rest of the weekend due to health and safety concerns. CSU split games with Seattle U that weekend and dropped its contest against host then-#3/4 Arizona.

OPPONENT SCOUT
Bears: Northern Colorado had its season opening weekend in Denver canceled as they Bears were going to play a handful of DII schools. UNC was in St. George, Utah last weekend, suffering five loses between Utah State, Weber State and Dixie State. The Bears are 2-7 so far this season.

Beavers: Oregon State had a perfect 5-0 record heading to Arizona last weekend, but suffered a pair of loss against then-No. 3/4 Arizona and Seattle U. The Rams were scheduled to face the Beavers for a game last weekend, but it was canceled. OSU will come to Colorado with a 6-2 mark.

Jackrabbits: South Dakota State started its season back in mid-February at the Doc Halverson Tournament in the Uni-Dome in Cedar Falls. The Jackrabbits suffered a loss in the opener against Iowa State before finishing the weekend with four wins against Drake, UNI and Butler to bring a 4-1 record to Colorado.
