Colorado State will face Boise State for a three-game series at Dona Larsen Park starting Saturday afternoon.

THIS WEEK
Colorado State will head back on the road and begin the month of May at Boise State for a three-game series starting Saturday afternoon. Saturday will feature a doubleheader with the first pitch schedule for 12 p.m., MT followed by game two. The series will finish Sunday with a single game at 11 a.m., MT. All three games will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.

LAST TIME OUT
The Rams were back at Ram Field last week, hosting UNLV. Colorado State dropped the first game after allowing a four-hit seven-run fifth inning. The Rams kept game two close, dropping the final game of the doubleheader 1-0. CSU responded in the series finale with a season-high 14 hits and scoring seven runs - six off three homers to take it 8-7.

AGAINST THE BRONCOS
The Rams are 11-14 overall record against Boise State, which also includes an 11-14 mark in Mountain West action. The series is the newest for Colorado State, dating back to 2009. CSU and Boise State have faced each other consistently since the Broncos joined the Mountain West in 2012. Colorado State last faced Boise State in 2019 in Boise and dropped the series 1-2 - the only series the Rams didn't win that year. The Broncos took the first game 6-5 after going 12 innings. The Rams evened the series with a 3-1 victory in game two before suffering a loss in the finale 3-1.

OPPONENT SCOUT
Colorado State will head to Boise State, as the Broncos are in fourth place in the Mountain West with an 18-18 overall record and a 9-6 mark in league play. Boise State started the conference schedule getting swept by UNLV before taking the next three league series, including sweeping San Jose State and Utah State at home. The Broncos dropped their second MW series last week at New Mexico, 2-1.

The Broncos posted an 9-12 non-conference slate, where they dropped games against then-No. 6 Oregon and a series sweep at Cal State Fullerton.

Boise State sits in the middle of the standing in most stat categories, but is second in fielding percentage (.974) and triples per game (0.22). Ashlyn Adams leads the conference with 45 hits and pitcher Hannah Bailey holds a 2.02 ERA which is second in the league.
