Rams Head to Nevada for Midweek Showdown

CSU men’s basketball looks for first conference win against Nevada
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The conference season is in full swing as Colorado State hits the road for a midweek game against Nevada Wednesday night. Tip-off between the Rams and Wolf Pack is set for 8:30 pm MT on FS1.

- Colorado State started hot but slumped late to drop its Mountain West home opener against San Jose State 78-70.Â
- Isaiah Stevens recorded his second double-double of the season in the win with 24 points and 10 assists.
- Stevens is now the program leader for career point-assists double-doubles with seven passing Ryan Yoder.
- Wednesday night's game marks the 100th game for Stevens. He has started in the previous 99 and bearing a surprise he will make it 100 on Wednesday.

Fourth-year head coach Steve Alford has his Nevada Wolf Pack once again performing well entering Wednesday 2-0 in conference play.

Nevada has a three-headed monster of Jarod Lucas, Kenan Blackshear and Will Baker all averaging over 10 points a game. Lucas leads the way with 17.4 while Blackshear and Baker add in 14.3 and 12.7, respectively.

The Wolf Pack like to attack the rim and get to the line ranking seventh in the nation shooting 79.2% while averaging 23.7 attempts per game, the 18th most in the nation.
