FORT COLLINS – Colorado State will host South Dakota Mines on Tuesday night, capping a four-game home stretch that started the season. The Rams (3-0) will play the Hardrockers (0-4) for the fourth time in program history.

STALWART RAMS
McKenna Hofschild leads the Rams and the Mountain West in scoring, averaging 21.3 points per game… The MW Preseason Player of the Year is also shooting 53.7 percent and 8.0 assist per game… Cali Clark has been controlling the boards, pulling an average of 9.67 per night… The senior tallied eight offensive boards in the season opener against Le Monye, tying for fifth in program history… Although early in the season, Cailyn Crocker is perfect from the charity stripe, making all nine… Kendyll Kinzer is fifth in the Mountain West with 1.33 blocks per game.

SERIES HISTORY
Colorado State and South Dakota Mines will face each other for the fourth time in program history. The Rams lead 3-0 with the three games played in 2013 and 2014.

SCOUTING THE HARDROCKERS
South Dakota Mines enters Tuesday contests without a victory, both games at the Conference Challenge and the East/West Challenge, which was last weekend… The Hardrockers have suffered double-figure losses in each game so far this season… Piper Bauer lead the Rockers averaging 16.8 points per game, followed by Savea Mansfield with 10… Sydnee Durtsche is shooting 44.8 percent from the floor, while Bauer is at 40.6 from behind the arc… Emily Thomas dished out 13 assist in the four games to average over three a game.
