Colorado State will stay in Moby Arena this week and host Air Force on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. The Rams will head to Laramie later this weekend for a 2:00 p.m., game on Saturday.
 
What If...
A win on Saturday would move Colorado State to 12-4 overall and 7-2 at home. The Rams would also improve to 53-18 overall against the Falcons - it's highest in-conference winning percentage. CSU has won 12 of the last 13 games in Moby.
 
Recapping Last Week
The Rams returned to Moby Arena and recorded a 61-55 victory over New Mexico. McKenna Hofschild led all scorers with 23 points and added six assists. Sydney Mech reached double figures for the second consecutive game adding 10 points.
 
Series History
Colorado State and Air Force will meet for the 71st time in program history on Wednesday. The Rams lead the series 52-18 and are 27-4 while playing Moby Arena. The Rams have suffered just one loss in the last 13 home games.
 
Golden State Resident
Colorado State will visit California a total of five times this season, playing in all the major areas. The Rams have visited San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego and Fresno already this season. CSU will finish the regular season in San Jose.
 
Leaving No Doubt
Colorado State holds a +12.1 scoring margin - No. 65 in the nation. The Rams have had six games where they defeated their opponent by 20+ points, including five games in Moby. CSU holds a +18.5 scoring margin in Moby Arena.
 
Third-Quarter Explosion
Colorado State has been effective coming out of halftime, averaging 5.5 more points than its opponents in the third quarter. The frame is the largest point differential with the highest being 17 against Alabama A&M on Nov. 9. The Rams have been outscored just three times in the third quarter - at UTEP, at LBSU and vs. UNLV.
 
Hand In The Face
Colorado State made defense a priority this season and that is why they are the No. 32 defense in the country keeping opponents to a 35.9 mark shooting.
 
Dish It
McKenna Hofschild leads the country with 8.4 assists per game, while also No. 2 in total dimes with 126. She is averaging a half an assist more than the next player (Caitlin Clark, Iowa).

Colorado State takes care of the ball, while also creating assists. The Rams are No. 2 in the nation in assist/turnover ratio with a 1.77 mark. McKenna Hofschild is No. 4 in the country with a 3.6 mark, having 35 turnovers to 126 assists in 15 games. Last season she finished the year at No. 2 in the nation with a 3.42 ratio.

McKenna Hofschild has started 100 consecutive games that she's appeared in - every game at Colorado State. During those 100 games, she is averaging 18.4 points and 6.8 assists per game in 35.5 minutes per game.
 
Conference Leaders
Since the start of conference play, there are only two players in the country that are averaging 25 ppg, 6 apg, 5 rpg and shooting 45 percent from the floor. McKenna Hofschild and Caitlin Clark.
 
Elite Company
As one of the top point guards in the country, McKenna Hofschild is around some good company. In the nation, she is one of two players to average 20+ points and seven assists so far this season, joining Caitlin Clark from Iowa.
 
Hitting Threes
Last time Colorado State didn't make a 3-point basket was 12 seasons ago against Bowling Green (0-6) on Dec. 31, 2011. Since, the Rams have a three in every game, carrying a 372-game streak with a deep basket. Since Ryun Williams has been Head Coach, the Rams have hit a 3-point basket in every game.
 
Dime Leader
McKenna Hofschild put her name on the top of the all-time assist list at Colorado State. In the game against South Dakota Mines the guard dished out 14 assists in the win and now holds the title of assist leader with 678 and counting.
 
League History
With another four assists at Fresno State on Wednesday, McKenna Hofschild continues to climb the all-time Mountain West assist record. Currently she is second in league history and is 11 away from claiming the title.
 
Preseason Player of the Year
McKenna Hofschild was named the Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year ahead of the 2023-24 campaign. She became the third player in program history and fourth overall to earn the regular title last season.
 
Preseason All-Mountain West Team
In addition to being named the Mountain West preseason Player of the Year, Hofschild also was named to the five-person preseason All-Mountain West team. Transfer graduate Jackie Carman also was named the preseason Newcomer of the Year after a successful four-year career at Wofford.
 
Protect The Rock
The Rams don't turn the ball over, which is why they lead the nation in fewest turnovers per game with 8.8. CSU has forked the ball over just 132 times, the fewest in the country. The next team in TO/game averages 9.9 (Villanova).
 
Make It A Double
McKenna Hofschild hasn't wasted any time recording double-marks. The guard has tallied seven double-doubles already this season, including five in the last eight games. She has 15 for her career after a 34 points/10 assists performance against UNLV.
