What You Need to Know
  • Friday's match up with No. 12 Oregon will serve as Colorado State's annual Orange Out game, celebrating Ag Day where fans are encouraged to wear orange. Ag Day is set to honor CSU's roots as a leader in agricultural education, research, and outreach. It is a tradition for the Rams to wear pumpkin and alfalfa uniforms and go by 'the Aggies' to celebrate the history of Colorado State and Colorado A&M.
  • Friday-Sunday's game will be a part of the annual Ram Volleyball Classic featuring three neutral site games taking place in Moby Arena. Volleyball fans across Fort Collins are encouraged to cheer on the Rams and welcome to stick around for the three neutral site games which will not be ticketed. The full tournament schedule can be found at CSURams.com
  • Saturday's game will also be the first hike and spike doubleheader of the season featuring both Colorado State volleyball and football playing at home. The Rams' football team will also participate in Ag Day with an Orange Out of its own for their home opener as they face Northern Colorado at 5 p.m. at Canvas Stadium.

Scouting Week Two
  • The Rams will start off play this week versus the Bears who co-hosted complimentary opponents last weekend with Colorado State. Northern Colorado opened its season defeating Michigan State 3-1 before falling to Florida in 1-3.
  • No. 12 Oregon visits Fort Collins after starting 1-1 in 2024. The Ducks fell to No. 4 Pittsburgh 0-3 in their season opener in Eugene before defeating Long Beach State 3-0. Oregon is coming off a regional final appearance last season after finishing second in the Pac-12 and will make the switch to the Big Ten this season. Colorado State assistant coach Sonja Anderson is an Oregon alum with Friday's game serving as her first matchup against the Ducks as a coach.
  • Central Arkansas makes the trip to Moby Arena after the Rams faced off with the Sugar Bears last season in Conway, Arkansas. Last season's matchup ended in a 3-2 Colorado State win while Central Arkansas brings in a 1-2 record boasting a win over Tarleton and a loss to both Texas A&M – Commerce and Little Rock.
  • The Lopes make their first trip in Moby Arena in program history after starting the season 2-1 with wins over Montana and Oregon State before falling to reigning Mountain West tournament champion Fresno State in Phoenix. Grand Canyon's game against the Rams will be its first true road game of the season.

Match Notes
  • Although the Rams started 0-2 during opening weekend, their veteran lineup was able to be successful in the little things against ranked Florida and Big Ten opponent Michigan State. Key impact players include:
