Colorado State continues road trip tomorrow
SAN MARCOS, Texas - Colorado State University fell to Texas State University and Oklahoma State on Friday at Bobcat Stadium.Â

Game 1: Colorado State 2 | Texas State, 3   Â

- In the third inning, Colorado State responded to Texas State's runs. Lindsey Hinson walked and advanced to third on a double by Kamryn Smith. Allyson Moody reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Hinson to score. The Rams cut the lead to 2-1 by the end of the third inning.Â
- In the seventh inning, the Rams made a push. Bradie Poteet-Herrera singled and advanced to third after a passed ball while Jailey Wilson reached base. Poteet-Herrera scored on another passed ball, closing the gap to 3-2. However, the comeback fell short. The final score was Texas State 3, Rams 2.Â
- Reagan Wick pitched a complete game, allowing eight hits and three earned runs over six innings. Wick struck out two batters, managed to induce 12 groundouts, highlighting the effectiveness of forcing batters into ground ball situations.Â
- Wilson recorded a hit in four at-bats and handled 12 putouts at first base. Moody collected an RBI with a hit from three at-bats, contributing to the team's scoring efforts. Smith finished with a double in a four-at-bat performance, adding a crucial hit for the lineup.Â

- Colorado State fell 10-0 to Oklahoma State on Friday evening in a non-league matchup. Â
- In the second inning, the Rams reached first-base on a throwing error but could not capitalize, leaving the score at 2-0 through two innings. Â
- Giselle Bentley started the game, pitching three innings. Bentley faced 17 batters, threw 66 pitches and ended with a WHIP of 3.00. Â
- Andrea Jaskowiak came in relief, pitching one full inning against the Cowgirls. Delaney Saugstad closed out the pitching for the Rams, retiring the only batter faced with a groundout during the inning.Â
