Junior earns second weekly award of her career

FORT COLLINS - Junior Reagan Wick was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week after her performance in the NorCal Kickoff during opening week of the spring season, announced Monday afternoon.

Wick's accolades include:
  • Started off the spring season strong by throwing a no-hitter in the season-opening win against Cal Poly.
  • Recorded a perfect 0.00 ERA in 14.2 innings pitched, totaling 16 strikeouts throughout the three games she appeared in.
  • Threw two full-game wins, both of which were shutouts against Cal Poly and Sacramento State.
  • Notched a save over UC Davis, throwing only four pitches, all of which were strikes to confirm a Rams' win. 
  • Only gave up four hits overall, boasting an opponent batting average of 0.85.
  • Colorado State won every game throughout the weekend that she appeared in.
Wick and the Rams enter week two of the spring season as they are set to travel to San Diego to compete in the San Diego Tournament February 13-15, with games against Utah Tech, San Diego, Fairleigh Dickenson and UC San Diego.
