Appeared in five games at quarterback, completing 48% (21-44) of his passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns, with three interceptions.

  • In his first career game, he completed eight-of-nine passes for one touchdown and an interception against Savannah State (Sept. 5).
  • Orchestrated a seven play, 55 yard drive in the final minute of regulation against Minnesota (Sept. 15) to set up kicker Wyatt Bryan for the game-tying field goal.

Redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.

High School:

  • Rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com.
  • Scout.com ranks him as the 15th best player in Oklahoma.
  • Earned nine varsity letters at Broken Arrow, in baseball (4), football (3) and basketball (2).
  • Finished career at Broken Arrow holding school records for career completions (357) and passing yards (3,535).
  • Captain in 2013 of the Tigers football and baseball teams.
  • Had a record-setting season as a senior in 2013, completing 336 passes for 2,628 yards and 29 touchdowns, all single-season records.
  • In a 70-21 victory over Edison High School on Oct. 25, threw for a single-game Broken Arrow record 333 yards and 7 touchdowns on 12-of-15 passing.
  • On Oct. 11, in a losing effort against Jenks High School, completed a school-record 26 passes.
  • In 2013 the Tigers went 10-3 to reach the semifinals of the 6A Oklahoma state championships.
  • Finished the season by earning Oklahoma Coaches first-team All-Oklahoma, All-Vype first-team, first-team all-district and Tulsa World first-team all-metro.
  • Invited to the 2013 Blue-Grey All-Star Classic held in Dallas in January.
  • Also excelled in the classroom earning Academic all-district honors as a senior.
  • Chose Colorado State over offers from Arkansas State, Houston, Illinois, North Texas, Toledo and Western Michigan.
  • Head football coach was Steve Spavital.
  • Played against current Rams defensive lineman Terry Jackson, when Jackson was at Owasso High School.
