Comeback Falls Short At New Mexico

Colorado State?s fourth quarter rally came up short as the Rams dropped 37-34 to New Mexico.
Colorado State tied the game with 3:07 to play on a Bradlee Van Pelt 1-yard run, capping a 17 point rally. A Van Pelt fumble in the game?s final moments set up the game winning field goal for the Lobos.
Van pelt rushed for 83 and threw for 217. Anderson caught seven passes for 134 yards. He now has the third highest total for receiving yards in school history.
Another highlight for the Rams was a 90-yard kickoff return by Dexter Wynn that set up Van Pelt?s first of two scoring runs. The Rams return to action at home next Saturday to take on San Diego State at 1:00 p.m. at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.
