Colorado State University football coach Sonny Lubick said Sunday the Rams are continuing to polish their game plan for Wednesday night's Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl Game.

The Rams face the Eagles - both teams are 7-5 - at 7:30 p.m. PST/8:30 p.m. MST on ESPN2 in Pac Bell Park.

Lubick put his team through a two hour workout Sunday minus the services of three key players. Quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt participated early in the practice but was limited by a sore throwing hand. Van Pelt had his most extensive duty Saturday since suffering a broken right hand in the final regular season game against UNLV on Nov. 22.

"Bradlee's hand was a little sore and swollen from all the work Saturday," said Lubick. "We will give him a couple of days rest and see how effective he is. He'll throw verty light Tuesday and see how it feels."

Lubick also said that cornerback Ben Stratton is nursing a sore hamstring and runningback Rashaan Sanders is nursing a sprained ankle. Both are questionalbe for the game.

Lubick said that Jimmy Green will likely draw the start in the backfield with Marcus Houston as the top backup.

The Rams will hold another two hour workout on Monday then have a walk-through at the game stadium on Tuesday.
