Spring 2003 Football Academic All-Conference

Five football players received the Scholar-Athlete award for their hard work both in athletics and academics. This award is given to student-athletes who earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participate in at least one event.

Curt Beling is a junior majoring in natural sciences and earned a 3.890 GPA. Jason Hepp is a graduated senior who majored in management and notched a GPA of 3.890. Eric Pauly is a junior majoring in information systems and earned a 3.740 GPA. Russell Sprague is a senior majoring in speech communications and had a GPA of 3.580. J.J. Stepien is a junior majoring in restaurant and resort management and earned a 3.750 GPA.
