FORT COLLINS - Colorado State University?s football team returned to the practice field Monday for two workouts as the team continued preparation for its season opener Aug. 30 against Colorado. Monday, Rams? coach Sonny Lubick put the team through a pair of workouts, with a single drill scheduled Tuesday under the NCAA?s new guidelines.
?We looked a bit fresher today,? said Lubick of his team?s workouts. ?You could tell we had a day off.?
The Rams scrimmaged last Saturday, then Lubick game his team Sunday free.
?We came out of the scrimmage healthy, which is good. I thought Monday?s morning practice was one of our better practices,? he said.
