Lubick Featured In New Book

Fort Collins, Colo. - Colorado State University's Sonny Lubick is one of nine coaches nationally who will be featured in the upcoming book, "Every Week A Season," written by Brian Curtis.
Curtis, an author and sportscaster based in Los Angeles, wrote the best-selling book, "Men of March," a season inside the lives of four college basketball coaches: former Illinois coach Bill Self, Iowa's Steve Alford, former UCLA coach Steve Lavin, and Notre Dame's Mike Brey.
Curtis' latest project through Ballantine Books, a division of Random House, takes a behind the scenes look at the programs of nine schools and their respective head coaches: Sonny Lubick of Colorado State, along with Georgia's Mark Richt, Bobby Bowden of Florida State, Nick Saban of LSU, Tennessee's Phil Fullmer, Arizona State's Dirk Koetter, Barry Alvarez of Wisconsin, Tom O'Brien of Boston College, and Ralph Friedgen of Maryland.
The book will be published following the 2003 season with each chapter providing a detailed look at the week leading up to a major game. Curtis will spend this entire week with Colorado State's coaches and staff preceding the Rams' game with instate rival Colorado Aug. 30 at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver.
