Colorado State University Director of Athletics Mark Driscoll has announced the establishment of a memorial fund in the name of the deceased wife of assistant volleyball coach Andy Klussmann. Klussmann, 40, who is in his fifth year as an assistant to Tom Hilbert at Colorado State, remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit of a Cheyenne hospital.

Klussmann?s wife, Janna, died Sunday of injuries suffered in an accident near Cheyenne, Wyo. She was driving the family vehicle when the accident occured and her husband, along with 1-year-old son Jackson, 3-year-old son Drew, and mother-in-law were passengers. The youngsters were uninjured and Andy?s mother is being treated at a Cheyenne hospital. His step-children (Janna's son and daughter), Seth and Sarah Anderson, were not with the family at the time of the accident.

Driscoll said the Janna Klussmann Memorial Fund has been established through First National Bank in Fort Collins. Individuals can make contributions to: Janna Klussmann Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank; 205 W. Oak St., Fort Collins, CO 80522-0578, or call970-482-7700, or online via PayPal through the NORCO Juniors Volleyball Club website at norcovolleyball.com.

?We have had an outpouring of concern and support the 24 hours for Andy and his family,? said Driscoll. ?The thoughts and prayers of everyone associated with our program are with the family in this very trying time.?
