Fort Collins - With classes now in session on the Colorado State University campus, the Rams' football team turned to once-a-day afternoon workouts in preparation for the team's opening game Sept. 4 at Colorado (Fox Sports Network; Colorado State Sports Network).
Lubick said he and his staff reviewed videotape of last Saturday's scrimmage, then spent Monday working on things they saw on the screen.
"Overall, it was pretty good," said Lubick of the scrimmage results.
He did say the Rams must be more physical on both sides of the ball before the opener arrives.
Monday, linebacker Jahmal Hall returned to the field after nearly a week battling a hamstring pull.
"Jahmal returning will help us," Lubick said. "He has a good feel for the defense. It will take him three or four practices to get the feel back."
Lubick also said the team's starting middle linebacker, Courtney Jones, continues to play well.
The Rams return to the practice field Tuesday to continue workouts.
