Inclement weather in the Fort Collins area cut short Colorado State University's practice session Tuesday, time Rams' coach Sonny Lubick the team will have to make up Wednesday.

Lubick sent his team to the locker room moments before a severe thunderstorm soaked the practice fields.

"We've got a lot to get done in the next two days," Lubick said following the workout. "We have to get it (additional work) in tomorrow. We missed about 15 minutes that we can catch up."

Colorado State, 2-2 overall and 1-0 in Mountain West Conference play, faces Utah at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. There is no live television coverage available locally.

Less than 1,500 reserved tickets remain for the game. Director of Athletics Mark Driscoll announced a "Sellout Saturday" campaign last Friday, including discounting tickets in the north end zone by $15 while supplies last. Some tickets in the north end zone remain, as do reserved seats in the west seating areas.

"Tickets have been selling very rapidly," said Driscoll. "We anticipate strong sales through the rest of the week."

Driscoll said any unsold tickets to the game would go on sale two hours prior to game time at the stadium ticket office just outside the team tunnel entrance. He also encouraged fans planning to attend the game to purchase tickets in advance by calling 1-800-491-RAMS, or online at CSURAMS.com. Tickets area also available at all King Soopers and City Market grocery store locations throughout the state of Colorado.

He also praised CSU students, who have already nearly exhausted their allotment of 10,000 tickets for each home game.

"Throughout the years, we've always received tremendous student support at all of our athletic events," he said. "But this year, it seems as though the support by our students has been even greater than ever before. I've had numerous donors as well as members of the opposing team parties, comment on how strong our student support has been. We're very thankful for the support that our students provide our football team and all of our sport programs."

The Rams enter Saturday's game with two major injury concerns.

Center Albert Bimper, who has started 36 games in his career, has been ruled out of the game after suffering hamstring and knee injuries in last week's win over Air Force. Starting guard Josh Day, who left the Air Force game with a hamstring strain, is listed as questionable. Day, however, was back on the field in a limited role Tuesday.

"I'm encouraged by that," said Lubick. "He said he's feeling better every day. He's really been a strength for us all year. He's one of the reasons we're getting a lot of creases in there in the running game."

Lubick also said he's noticed a change in his team this week following back-to-back wins.

"They know if they work hard, they have a chance to win. They are getting some results. As a coach, you can talk all you want about this and about that. It doesn't mater until you win."

Lubick and the Rams return to the practice field Wednesday for what will be a two-hour workout.
