In any game, Colorado State University football coach Sonny Lubick said, things are not always going to go his team's way.
The key, Lubick said, is overcoming that adversity.
"You have some adversity. Things do not always go like you'd like them to go," said Lubick following his team's two-hour workout Tuesday.
"The thing we have to do, is when things go bad, is really pick it up and play through those momentum swings."
The Rams, 0-2, face the University of Nevada Saturday at 4 p.m. at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium in the team's home opener.
Colorado State is coming off an open date last weekend, and by game time will have had eight practices between contests.
"We've had eight more practices between games. I hope we see improvement," said Lubick.
Tuesday, he praised his team's effort during the workout as the Rams head into the final two workouts this week in preparation for Saturday's game.
Runningback Nnamdi Ohaeri (left ankle) remains sidelined, as does offensive guard Brandon Alconcel (right elbow). Neither figure to play Saturday.
