CSU Announces Football Season Ticket Packages

Season football ticket packages reflecting significant discounts that also include tickets to Colorado State University's game with the University of Colorado in Denver are now available under plans announced today by Rams' athletic department officials.

"Over the past several months, we evaluated everything related to football season ticket sales. We felt that the pricing structure provides an opportunity for every Ram fan to attend five exciting home games in Fort Collins and support Coach Sonny Lubick and the Rams in Denver," said Director of Athletics Mark Driscoll.

Season tickets on the west side of Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium for five home games, plus the annual in-state battle with Colorado in Denver are priced at $199, 13% below the face value of six individual game tickets purchased separately. If a fan purchased tickets for each of the six home games individually, the cost would be $225, a $26 savings through season ticket purchases.

Driscoll also said the department is also providing a significant discount for season tickets in the north end zone, priced as low as $99, a savings of $26 below face value of tickets purchased individually, and less than $20 per game. Ticket plans in the north end zone do not include tickets to the Sept. 9 game in Denver, but do provide fans priority in buying tickets to the game in Denver. All reserved tickets to the game with CU are $55.

The department is also offering family plan discounts, and a "Pick 3" miniplan for three home games, with discounts included. For the "Pick 3" miniplan, a Ram fan can pick any three games excluding the CU game for total of $60, a 20% savings on a per-game cost basis.

Athletic department officials are sending notices to current season ticket holders, with a May 26 ticket renewal deadline. New season tickets go on sale in May, including seat location. Athletic department officials said single game tickets for all home games including the Sept. 9 game with Colorado in Denver go on sale July 9.

Special ticket plans are also available for University faculty and staff members, and senior citizens. Those packages include tickets to the Sept. 9 game with Colorado in Denver.

The school also announced its special home game promotions for the 2006 season, incuding:

North End Zone
Rams fans can take advantage of a season ticket discount - $99 -in the north end zone. The discounted package includes all five games at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. Fans who purchase season tickets in the north end zone will have a priority opportunity to purchase tickets ($55 each) for the battle with Colorado at INVESCO Field at Mile High!

Family Plans

Colorado State vs. Colorado Ticket Distribution Plans Ticket distribution plans to the game at INVESCO Field at Mile High include:

* Tickets to the game between the in-state rivals are included in CSU season ticket packages (except for tickets in the north end zone which will be sold at a reduced price for the five home games in Fort Collins. Fans in the north end zone, however, will have the opportunity to purchase tickets on a priority basis).

* Reserved tickets will be priced at $55. Club level tickets will cost $85. Suite ticket prices will be announced.

* Members of the Ram Club who are season ticket holders will have the first seating priority for the game in Denver based on giving level. Ram Club members who are also season ticket holders can also purchase additional tickets on a priority basis.

* Season ticket holders will have the next priority for seating at the stadium in Denver, and can also purchase additional tickets on a priority basis.

* Single game tickets for the contest will go on sale July 9 through the Colorado State ticket office in the McGraw Athletic Center. Tickets will also be available on line at CSURAMS.com and through Ticket Master (beginning date).

* CSU students will be able to purchase one ticket for $15 to the game on line through Ram Web, beginning July 24 through August 23 on line through Ram Web. Students can also purchase additional tickets at the normal reserved seat price. Athletic department officials will have 10,000 tickets reserved for university students.
