Colorado State University football coach Sonny Lubick said Wednesday he has noticed no emotional swing in his team following last week's 14-10 hard-fought victory over rival Colorado.
"There hasn't been a letdown," he said following a two-hour workout Wednesday. "We try to be steady and even keel."
Lubick said he was pleased with his team's work Wednesday as the Rams prepare for Saturday night's game against the University of Nevada in Reno. Kickoff time is 6 p.m. PT/7 p.m. at Mackay Stadium.]
"I thought practice went okay. We really worked them hard the last two days," Lubick said.
He said he'll lighten his team's load Thursday, shortening practice considerably.
Backup tight end Kevin McPeek missed Wednesday's workout, nursing a minor foot injury suffered Tuesday. He is expected to be ready by Saturday night's game.
Wide receiver Dustin Osborn (left ankle) is doubtful, as is center Tim Walter (right knee). Both were injured in the team's opening-game win over Weber State and did not play in last week's victory over Colorado.
Saturday night's game will be broadcast by the Colorado State Sports Network, including KCOL (600 AM) in Fort Collins and ESPN Radio (560 AM) in Denver. The radio broadcast is also available through the school's website, CSURAMS.com, by clicking on the "Game Day Central" icon on the right side of the front page.
There is no live television coverage of the game. A webcast for a nominal fee is available at WACTV.com.
