Fort Collins - Beginning Monday, Rams fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets to Colorado State's Sept. 8 home opener against California. Athletic ticket manager Sharon Rady made the announcement.
All reserved seats are $40 and will be available in person at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office, on-line at CSURams.com, or over the phone by dialing 1-800/491-RAMS. The Golden Bears, only the second Pac-10 team to visit Fort Collins, are expected to be nationally ranked. What's more, the Rams will don "throwback" uniforms that afternoon, commemorating 50 years since the school changed its name from Colorado A&M to Colorado State, in 1957.
Cal tickets still remain part of an attractive three-game mini-plan, which starts at only $90. That plan also includes Air Force (Oct. 13), and Georgia Southern (Nov. 17) games. Full season-ticket packages begin for as low as $125.
Hughes Stadium season parking passes also are available through the ticket office, for $30. Single-game parking is available at the stadium on the day of the game only, for $10.
In addition, the CSU ticket office is offering a limited number of parking passes to the Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown, the season opener against Colorado at INVESCO Field at Mile High, Sept. 1. Rams fans who purchase these $20 passes through the CSU ticket office will be able to park in a designated CSU area with fellow supporters.
CU game student ticket update: Only about 1,500 student tickets remain for the Sept. 1 Colorado game. Tickets are available exclusively on-line at CSURAMS.com to full-fee paying CSU students. Accessing the appropriate link, students can purchase one ticket for $15 and a second "guest" ticket for face value, $55. Ram Road Trip passes, which include round-trip transportation and breakfast, also are available using that link.
Rady said less than 60 seats remain for the Ram Road Trip.
