FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State's football staff is inviting coaches from all levels to participate in the school's 2008 coaching clinic. The Rams also are hosting three camps later this summer.

The CSU coaches clinic takes place April 18-19 in conjunction with the Rams' annual spring game, April 19. The clinic includes Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Rick Dennison and Bear Creek High School coach Tom Thennel, as well as CSU Head Coach Steve Fairchild and his entire coaching staff.

Cost of the clinic is only $30 per person. The weekend includes a bar-b-que dinner Friday and a light breakfast on Saturday. Also, one (1) continuing-education credit from CSU is available for an additional $72.

This summer, the Rams also will conduct three camps, two for high school juniors and seniors and a third for youth in third through eighth grades. Juniors and seniors have two opportunities to learn from the Rams coaching staff as the school will hold a pair of one-day camps, June 14 and July 26. Cost is $40 per person and includes lunch. Youth in grades 3-8  can take part in a non-padded camp June 9-11. That session is $275 for overnight campers or $175 for commuters, and requires a $50 non-refundable deposit by June 3 to reserve a spot.

TEAM TO PRACTICE AT HUGHES STADIUM: The Rams will conduct a 1 p.m. practice with scrimmage periods Saturday at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. The public is invited (admission is free) and concessions will be available. Fans will not be allowed on the playing surface.

HOMECOMING SET: The athletic department announced Wednesday it has selected Oct. 11 as the school's annual Homecoming and Family Weekend game. The Rams are scheduled to host TCU that Saturday, a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.  The school also has chosen the home opener, Sept. 6 vs. Sacramento State, as Ag Day. Other dates, such as Hall of Fame weekend, will be announced as soon as they're finalized.
